Our Inactive Staff Members


We would like to recognize those staff members who have previously served our funeral homes.  Some of them can't be with us anymore, for various reasons.  Thank you so much for your service to our funeral homes and our community in the past years!

Kerry Jones

Kerry Jones

Funeral Director/Pre-Need Counselor/After-Care Ministry Coordinator

Bro. Kerry Jones first came to Lincoln County in 1982 and worked in ministry for the past 30 years. He was ordained into ministry in 1986 and continues that work today. He and his wife, Kathy Adams, live in Stanford. They have two daughters, Jamie Hatter (Jesse) and Lindsay Harris (Lucas); and seven grandchildren.  In his spare time, he enjoys singing, playing the guitar, landscaping, gardening, and hiking. Kerry attends Stanford Methodist Church.  On December 31, 2025, Kerry retired from our funeral homes.


Janet Jacobs

Funeral Director/Administrative Assistant

Janet Jacobs grew up in the Highland Community of Lincoln County, Kentucky. She started working for Fox & Friend Funeral Home and Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home in June 2011. Janet retired, from the Lincoln County School System, after working 27 years in several different positions. She started as the secretary for Kings Mountain Memorial Elementary School and ended her years in the school system as the Food Service Director for the ten schools in Lincoln County.  Janet also previously kept stats for the Lincoln County Lady Patriots Basketball Team.  Janet’s family includes her husband, Roger; two children, Daniel Jacobs (Tiffany) of Danville, Kentucky and Katie Lou Blanton (Jeremy) of Waynesburg, Kentucky. Janet also has nine grandchildren, Lilly, Brody, Darcy Kate, and Marley Blanton and Cambria, Colt, Calisi Rose, Colette Blair Jacobs, and Charleston Kaye Jacobs. Janet, and her husband, Roger, own a small farm in Waynesburg.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching sports of any kind. Janet is a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Waynesburg.  Janet served our funeral homes for 14 years.  Her last day serving our funeral homes was Friday, September 26, 2025.

Madison Caudill Wilburn

Madison Caudill Wilburn

Funeral Director & Embalmer

Madison Caudill Wilburn was born and raised in Lincoln County, Kentucky.  She is a 2014 Graduate of Lincoln County High School.  In March 2017, she graduated from Mid-America College of Funeral Services in Louisville, Kentucky with an Associate’s Degree in funeral service.  On Friday, April 7, 2017, she was hired full-time at the funeral homes.  On Tuesday, May 9, 2017, she was approved by the Kentucky Board of Embalmers & Funeral Directors to begin her one-year Embalming & Funeral Director Apprenticeship.  She, and her husband, Luke Wilburn (married June 10, 2017), resides in Stanford, Kentucky. Other family includes: two daughters, Oaklyn Blair & Maevry Kate; parents, Scott & Donna Cress Caudill of Stanford; one brother, Skyler Caudill (Josie) of Georgetown, paternal grandparents, Kenneth & Brenda Caudill of Stanford, Kentucky; and maternal grandparents, Bob & Carolyn Cress of Eubank, Kentucky.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs and enjoys running.  Madison attends Moreland Christian Church.  Her last day serving our funeral homes was Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Selma Barnett

Selma Barnett

Selma Barnett has lived in Lincoln County, Kentucky all of her life, living many of those years in the Parlor Grove Community in Waynesburg, Kentucky. She has worked in the funeral business for 20+ years. Her family includes her first husband, the late Rev. Fred Conatser; her second husband, the late C.R (Clarence) Barnett; three children, Judy McGuffey (Randy) of Waynesburg, and Sherman Conatser of Danville, Kentucky, and  Regina Martin (Dennis) of Stanford, Kentucky. In addition to her two husbands, she is preceded in death by two sons, Freddie & Larry Conatser.  In her spare time, Selma enjoys quilting, participating in church activities, and cooking. She is a member of the Red Hat Society of Waynesburg. Selma is an active member of Double Springs Baptist Church, where she serves as Assistant Sunday School Teacher, church choir member, director of the monthly Senior Citizen program, and helps with the monthly food distribution program for needy families.


Phillip S. (Phil) Schreyer

Phillip S. (Phil) Schreyer

Phillip S. "Phil" Schreyer joined the funeral home, as a volunteer, in Fall 2023.  He received his Transport License, from the state, December 2023.  Phil lived many years in Sparta, Tennessee, but moved to Stanford to be closer to his daughter and her family.  

Phil was married to the late Shirley Jean (Rollins) Schreyer, who passed away May 29, 2023.  His family members include his second wife, Becky Schreyer of San Diego, California; one daughter, Gwen Fitzpatrick (Mark) of Stanford; one son, James Schreyer (Jamie) of Grants Pass, Oregon; four grandchildren, Adam Fitzpatrick (Melissa) of Stanford, Rachel Fitzpatrick of Stanford, Phillip Schreyer of Nashville, Tennessee, and Darla Looney of Doyle, Tennessee; four great-grandchildren, Blake Fitzpatrick, Riley Fitzpatrick, Noah Fitzpatrick, and Theo Fitzpatrick.

Phil is a member of Dix River Pentecostal Church, and also volunteers and conducts church services for the Stanford Care & Rehabilitation Center.


Gary Moore

Gary Moore began working at the funeral homes April 10, 2019.  Gary was born in Casey County, Kentucky, was resident of McKinney, Kentucky, since 1969, until he moved to Stanford, Kentucky in August 2019.  Gary’s wife was the late Jeanine Brown Moore.  Gary's family members include his wife, Sharlene Neal Taylor Moore of Stanford; two daughters, Cindy Coffman (Winfred) of McKinney, and Daphne Sparkman (John) of the Highland Community of Lincoln County, Kentucky; and three grandsons, Matthew Coffman, Isaac Coffman, and John William Sparkman.  Gary is a member of Green River Pentecostal Church.  In 2018, Gary retired from the Lincoln County School System, where he worked as a Custodian for 13 years at the Lincoln County Middle School.  Gary previously worked at Whirlpool and Matsushita.


Larry Todd

Larry Todd was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He has lived in Lincoln County, Kentucky since 1980.  Larry married Debbie Carpenter Todd in 1980.  He has two children, Ashley Tackett (Joe) from Stanford, Kentucky and Matthew Todd from Fairfield, Ohio.   His hobbies include music and golf.  Larry is an accomplished musician and has played for various groups and artists over the years.  Larry is a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Stanford, where he is the keyboardist and audio director.  Larry joined the funeral home staff in October 2018.


The Late Bonnie Rose McWhorter

The Late Bonnie Rose McWhorter

Bonnie Rose McWhorter was a long-time resident of the New Salem Community in Lincoln County, Kentucky.  Bonnie joined the funeral home staff on June 24, 2013.  After 35 years of service, she retired as the McKinney Elementary School Secretary.  Her family included her husband Ronald H. McWhorter; two sons, Ronnie Kim McWhorter (Sharon) & Larry McWhorter (Karen) both of New Salem; and four grandchildren, Kevin McWhorter (Heather), Jonathan McWhorter (Kristen), Korey McWhorter (Tiffany), and Missy McWilliams (Ryan); and two great-grandchildren, Shelby Lynn McWilliams and Maverick Kreed McWhorter.  Bonnie was a member of Green River Pentecostal Church, where she served on the Christmas Blessings Committee.  She was also a member of the Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital Auxiliary.  Bonnie passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018.  Thank you for your service to our funeral homes.  You will forever be in our hearts!


Jason Coulter

Jason Coulter was born and raised in Lincoln County, Kentucky. He and his wife, Heather Wilcher Coulter, married on July 5, 1996; and currently reside in McKinney. They have three children, Spencer (Lauren) Coulter of Moreland, Kentucky, Gentry (Lane) Ogle of Liberty, Kentucky, and Jaden Coulter-Malone. Jason has worked in the funeral industry since 2012; and received his KY Funeral Directors License in September of 2016. He is also a KY Licensed Life Insurance Agent.
