William Ernest Sean Rainey

William Ernest Sean Rainey, age 47, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at his residence.  Born Friday, January 25, 1974 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of Mary Ann Carrender of Belleview, Florida, and the late David Roger Rainey.  His loving wife, whom he married Saturday, August 8, 2020, is Jennifer Reynolds Rainey of Stanford.  Sean was a Steel Iron Worker for various companies.

In addition to his wife and mother, Sean leaves behind one daughter, Cheyenne Rainey of Williamsburg, Kentucky; two step-sons, Deric Hodge and Devin Hodge both of Stanford; two step-daughters, Abigail Hodge of Stanford, and Ashle Hodge of Science Hill, Kentucky; one brother, Lee Voris of Belleview; two sisters, Alana Robinson of Belleview and Amber Rainey of Danville, Kentucky; three nieces, Aubrey Robinson of Belleview and Callie Curtsinger and Carlie Curtsinger both of Danville; three nephews, Adrian Robinson and Jaron Smith both of Belleview, and Carsen Curtsinger of Danville; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, Sean was preceded in death by one sister, Storie Rainey. 

Cremation Rites have been honored.  A Memorial Service may be held at a later date.
