Wanda Rae Withrow

Wanda Rae Withrow, age 88, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at her home. She was born Tuesday, February 6, 1934, in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Wilson and Margaret Beck Colyer Faulkner. Wanda leaves behind her husband, of 68 years, Jack Withrow, who she married Friday, September 3, 1954. She retired from the City of Stanford, where she worked as a clerk for 33 years. Wanda was a member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church for many years, where she was a leader for the Methodist Youth Fellowship.

Wanda leaves behind two sons, Jack Andrew Withrow (Carol), and Daniel Ray Withrow (Margie) both of Stanford; five grandchildren, Bridgette Lynn (Danny), Tyson Withrow (Lauren), Chad Withrow (Amy), Keith Withrow, and Jordan Withrow; six great grandchildren, Ally Lynn, Tinley Lynn, Jackson Withrow, Kainen Withrow, Elin Withrow, Hunter Withrow, and Emery Bertram; two brothers, David Faulkner (Rita) of Stanford, and Roy Faulkner (Cathie) of Danville, Kentucky; and two sisters, Becky Cooper (Johnny), and Ruth Faulkner both of Stanford.

In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Faulkner.

A Visitation will be held 5-8PM Sunday, October 9, 2022, at New Beginnings United Methodist Church.

The Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Monday, October 10, 2022, at the church. Ashley Tackett will be officiating the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Tyson Withrow, Chad Withrow, Keith Withrow, Jordan Withrow, Jackson Withrow, and Bridgette Lynn will serve as Active Pallbearers.
