Thelma Louise (Estes) Hazlett, age 91, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 at Landmark of Danville. Born Monday, June 10, 1929 in Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt & Montie (Tinsley) Estes. Thelma was the widow of the late Kelly J. Hazlett, who preceded her in death Monday, January 16, 1984. Thelma was a retired factory worker and member of Hedgeville Baptist Church. Thelma enjoyed bowling and cooking, in her spare time.

Thelma leaves behind three sons, Ronnie Hazlett (Mary) of Hustonville, Kentucky, and Kelly J. Hazlett II (Marketta) and Wendell Hazlett both of Danville; two daughters, Beverly Lay of Danville, and Susan Paulette Hyatt of Colorado; seven grandchildren, Ronnie Hazlett II (Amanda Charbonier), Mary Ann Gaines (Jason), Zack Hazlett (Autumn), Grace Lay, Seth Hyatt, Heath Hyatt, and Shaun Hyatt; numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her husband and parents, Thelma was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Estes and Kink Estes; and two sisters, Gertrude Brown and Genevieve Austin.

Due to current COVID-19 regulations, a Private Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. Bro. Travis Farris & Bro. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page beginning at 2:00PM Wednesday.
