Ronald Walker "JR" Kennedy, Jr.

Ronald Walker “JR” Kennedy, Jr., age 44, of Hustonville, Kentucky, passed unexpectedly on Friday, December 30, 2022.  Born Wednesday, August 23, 1978, in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of Virginia Marlene Snow Farmer of Danville and the late Ronald Walker Kennedy, Sr.  His loving wife, whom he married Wednesday, August 23, 2017, is Gloria Lee Epling Kennedy of Hustonville. JR loved the Lord, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and fishing. JR also loved his special dog, Chip.

In addition to his wife and mother, JR leaves behind one daughter, Emily Paige Kennedy Lewis (Kyle) of Pulaski County, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Adalyn Paige Lewis and Wyatt Matthew Lewis of Pulaski County; one grandchild due August 2023; siblings, Bobbie Jo Caldwell of McKinney, Kentucky, Scott Kennedy (Tabby) of Danville, and Priscilla Miller (George) of Stanford, Kentucky; step-brother, Jeff Farmer; step-sisters, Julie Candler, Dana Murphy, and Renee Fields; mother-in-law, Leesa Vanhook; father-in-law, Terry Epling (Janet); best friend since childhood, Shane King; and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, JR was preceded in death by his step-father, Julian Farmer; maternal grandmother, Edith Snow; maternal grandfather, Robert “Sash” Snow, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Rudolph Kennedy; and step-brother, Anthony Farmer.

A Public Graveside Service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the shelter of KP Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain, Kentucky.  Family members will officiate the service.

Burial will immediately follow the service.  Beanie Patterson, Kyle Lewis, Adam Epling, Jason Clay Caldwell, Jeff Farmer, Mike Kennedy, Ashton Roberts, and Jody Taylor will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Eddie Jolly, Shane King, and Eric Bender will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
