Pamela Gail (Ogg) Abrams, 68, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Richmond. Born Monday, June 28, 1954, in Berea, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Ewell Hembree and Geneva Ogg Powell. Pam previously worked in Central Supply at Pattie A. Clay Hospital and Heck’s & L.A. Joe Department Stores. Pam attended Richmond House of Prayer and Full Gospel Tabernacle. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting, crafts, dancing and singing. Pam loved her dogs and watching soap operas.
Pam is survived by one son, Cory Abrams (Keira) of Paint Lick, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Cheyenne Abrams, Kelsey Ruth Abrams, Sarah Raychel Abrams, and Cory Lucas Karson Abrams; father of her children, Charles Ray Abrams of Paint Lick; six sisters, Mary Ann Coffey of Berea, Patricia Lynn Jude of Berea, Edith Frances Lunsford (Leroy) of Jackson County, Dawn Hembree of Richmond, Olivia Jane Hembree Smith (Jack) of Berea, and Mary Ellen Estes of Alabama; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and many friends that mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her step-father, Tommy Green Powell; three sons, Bradley Ray Abrams, Tony Colin Abrams, and Terry Cole Abrams; four brothers, Tommy Powell, Scott Hembree, Ewell Hembree, Jr., and Mike Hembree; and one sister, Glenna Jean Powell.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Richmond House of Prayer, 330 Mule Shed Lane, Richmond, KY 40475.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, at the church. Pastor Owen Moody and Pastor Rickey Horn will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Pam’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
Burial will follow in Wallaceton Cemetery in Paint Lick. Josh Richardson, Colby Richardson, Ray Abrams, Larry Abrams, Tim Lawson, and Jonathan Johnson will serve as Active Pallbearers. Desiree Richardson will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
