Myrthle Wendell Anderson

Myrthle Wendell Anderson, age 80, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021, at his home. Born Friday, May 30, 1941, in Yamacraw, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Chester and Martha Godsey Anderson. His loving wife, whom he married Friday, July 10, 1964, is Norcie Polly Evaleen Mullins Anderson. Wendell was of the Church of God faith. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports and animals. Wendell loved to read his Bible, pray, and sing.

In addition to his wife, Wendell leaves behind one sister, Shelvie Jean Davenport of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Wendell was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary and Leroy Anderson; and two sisters, Beverly Mullins and Loma Gail Wilkerson.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Second Public Visitation will be held 11AM-2PM Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Partridge Church of Christ, in Letcher County.  The Public Funeral Service will begin at 2:00PM Saturday at the church. Wayne Galloway will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Mullins Cemetery in Letcher County.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to current COVID-19 regulations, those individuals who have not been vaccinated, will be required to wear face coverings.
