Michael D. Patterson

Michael D. Patterson, age 59, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021, at UK Regional Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.  Born Monday, September 4, 1961, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, he was the son of Billy Patterson of Waynesburg, Kentucky, and the late Ann Bruner Patterson.  His loving wife, whom he married October 1989, is Linda Brown Patterson of Stanford.  Michael worked in maintenance at Perryville Battlefield State Park.  In his spare time, he loved fishing, shooting pool, rock collecting, and gardening.

In addition to his wife and father, Michael leaves behind four step-daughters, Carolyn Kidwell of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Barbara Wiggin (Jason) of Brooklyn, Connecticut, Mary Cerveny of Frederick, Maryland, and Patricia O’Quin of Stanford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Steven Patterson (Angie) of Stanford, Roger Patterson (Bunny) of McKinney, Kentucky, and Jamie Patterson (Nikki) of Ohio; and one half-sister, Casey Shepherd of Somerset, Kentucky.

In addition to his mother, Michael was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Cremation Rites honored.  A Public Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, July 9, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home, with a Public Visitation beginning at 12:00PM Friday.
