Margaret Green Mink

Margaret Green Mink, of Stanford, Kentucky, age 88, died Friday, June 1, 2018.  She was born in Lincoln County on Sunday, February 2, 1930 to the late Chester & Mahala Anderson Green.  She was the widow of the late William Earl Mink, who preceded her in death December 21, 1996.  She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church; and taught Sunday School there around 33 years.  She worked at Fort Logan Hospital and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. 

Margaret is survived by one son, David E. Mink (wife-Jayme Hancock-Mink); five grandchildren, David A. Mink (wife-Yancey), Jessica Hancock Cope, Leslie, Donna, & Jennifer Elam; four great-grandchildren, David James Mink, Trenton Isaiah Johnson, Javin & Johnna Denny; two sisters, Allene Thacker and Hartsel Lay; in-laws, Jane, Cady, Vito & Braeden Mauro, Larry & Sharon Thacker, John David Hancock, Jill Hancock-Casey, Steven & Jacqueline VanWinkle; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Margaret was preceded in death by three sisters, Jewell Sams, Deloris Miracle, and Glenda Jean Severance. 

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. David Conrades officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
