Jeff Sears

Jeff Sears, age 62, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Tuesday, July 7, 1959, in Danville, he was the son of William Donald Sears of Stanford and Ann Barrett Sears of Stanford.  His loving wife, whom he married Friday, February 6, 1987, is Deronda Halcomb Sears of Stanford.  Jeff previously worked at Penn Ventilator and R&R Donnelley. Jeff was a member of Grace Fellowship Church, where he previously served along with his wife in various Children’s ministry programs, and was active in the men’s programs at the church.  Jeff loved his family, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and Papaw.  Jeff enjoyed playing the guitar, loved making pancakes and fudge for his family, and was an avid UK Wildcats fan.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jeff leaves behind one son, Brian Halcomb (Stephanie) of the Highland Community in Lincoln County, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Truett Halcomb and Gus Halcomb; two brothers, Tim Sears of Hebron, Kentucky, and Todd Sears (Tammy) of Stanford; one sister, Kim Sears of Lexington, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Cameron Sears (Amber), Emmy Sears, and Andrew Caldwell; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the funeral home.  Bro. Stewart Dawson will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Fox & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page. 

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.  Brian Halcomb, Todd Sears, Tim Sears, Dale Halcomb, Cameron Sears, Brandon Curlis, and Dennis Barrett will serve as Active Pallbearers.
