Jack Edward Owens

Jack Edward Owens, age 63, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at his home.  Born Thursday, November 17, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Paul E. & Betty Jean Blair Kidd.  Jack previously worked in a factory and enjoyed gardening, camping, collecting stuffed monkeys, and listening to country music. 

Jack leaves behind one son, Michael Edward Owens (Anthony Marcum) of Lexington, Kentucky; two daughters, Winona Jean Sims (Dinah Herrington) of Danville and Michelle Nicole Owens (James Marcum) of Lexington; five grandchildren, Nicole Owens, Brandon Sims, Brayden Sims, Abbey Owens, and Aubree Marcum; one brother, Bill Blair of Ohio; two sisters, Lisa Robinson (Ronnie) of Moreland, Kentucky, and Amy Singleton of Michigan; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his late wife, Kathy Tackett Owens; and one son-in-law, Brandon “Kool Aid” Sims.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, at the funeral home. 

Cremation Rites will follow the funeral service.  Private Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.
