Eunice Young Morgan Wood

Eunice Young Morgan Wood, age 87, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home. Born Thursday, September 19, 1935, in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Allie Gourley Young. Eunice was the widow of the late Robert Morgan and the late Robert Wood. She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church. Eunice was a UK fan and loved to cook.

Eunice leaves behind four daughters, Kathy Morgan Wooldridge (Johnny) of Hiram, Georgia, Debbie Morgan Watson of Stanford, Karen Morgan Davis (Venton Venoy) of Stanford, and Rene Wood of Stanford; five grandchildren, Johnny Wooldridge II (Megan Estes), Jason Wooldridge (Crystal), Paige Watson, Rebekah Davis Ayres (Lewis), and Lindsey Davis Toohey (Chris); eight great grandchildren, Jarrod Wooldridge (Chris), Courtney Wooldridge, Mitchell Wooldridge, Chelsea Stiverson, Hannah Wamsley, Blake Wamsley, Ethan Toohey, and Felicity Toohey; two great great grandchildren, Willow and Keegan Stiverson; two brothers, Beverly Young of Highland, Kentucky, and Gary Lynn Young (Geraldine) of Germantown, Ohio; one sister, Beatrice Faye Reed of Louisville, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Eunice was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim Young, Glen Young, and Leonard Young; and four sisters, Helen Croft, Wilma Denham, Wibbie Denham, and Phyllis Young.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday, March 20, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

The Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the funeral home. Gary Lynn Young, Jack Denham, and Pastor Kyle Burnette will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Eunice’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.  Blake Wamsley, Lewis Ayres, Brian Young, Johnny Wooldridge II, Chris Toohey, and Dwight Young will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Rebekah Davis, Lindsey Toohey, Paige Watson, and Jason Wooldridge will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
