Donald Wayne Cress

Donald Wayne Cress, age 63, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019. Born Wednesday, July 18, 1956 in Stanford, he was the son of Marie Padgett Cress of Stanford and the late Odell Cress. Donald was a US Army Veteran, a Barber and a licensed welder. He attended Grace Fellowship Church and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Along with his mother, Donald leaves behind one brother, David Cress of Stanford; two sisters, Janice Cress Mullins and Christi Cress, both of Stanford; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his father, Donald was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Alva & Versie Brown Padgett; and paternal grandparents, Estill & Susie Glass Cress. 

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Friday, November 22, 2019 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Bro. Troy Roberts officiating the service. Burial will follow at Double Springs Cemetery with Full Military Honors performed by the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion.

The Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the church.
