Charles "Charlie" Thomas Phillips

Charles “Charlie” Thomas Phillips, age 67, of Stanford, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Friday, April 30, 1954, in Frankfort, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Leonard Wheeler Phillips and the late Lucille Davis Robinson Phillips Pelkonen. Charlie was a retired factory worker. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, working crossword puzzles, watching westerns, and loved the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s rock -n-roll.

Charlie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Donna Phillips, who he married on July 10, 1981. Also surviving are Brother, Leonard Phillips (Mellie) of Georgetown, Step Father Walter Pelkonen of Stanford, 2 aunts and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret McFarland and Ann Darlene Johnson.  A nephew, Christopher Michael Phillips and an Aunt, Elizabeth Robinson.

A Public Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Fox & Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Jones officiating.  Pallbearers will be Dale Howard, Ricky Darnell, Austin Myers, David Mullins, Cliff Burberry, and Jeff Hurt.

A Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
