Charles Thomas Moorman

Charles Moorman, age 85, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away on Friday. March 22, 2024, at his residence.  He was born on March 29, 1938, in Woodford County, Kentucky.  He was the widow of the late Alta Mae Mitchell Moorman who preceded him in death on March 6, 2021.  Charles enjoyed fishing, playing cards and loved to read western books.  Charles was always a laid-back person.

Charles is survived by a daughter, Sandy Moorman of Waynesburg; Grandchildren, Crystal Miller (John David), James Grizzle, Michael Moorman, Zachary Moorman (Rachel), Kiah White (Jimmy), Terrell Grizzle, Angela Moorman, Zara Moorman, Ethan Simpson and Maria Culp; Great Grandchildren, Corey, Jayce, Savannah, Justice, Riley, Courtney, Ella, Anna, Bryce, Jackson, Raegan, Anya, and Autumn.

Besides his wife Charles was preceded in death by son, Jackie Moorman; daughters, Carolyn McAfee, Deborah Wilson; Granddaughter Melissa Moorman and brother James Moorman.

Cremation rites have been honored. 

A private burial will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
