Lue Evelyn Rowland Ellison

Lue Evelyn Rowland Ellison, age 91, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  Born Monday, August 15, 1927 in Kings Mountain, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William B. & Mary Greer Rowland.  Lue Evelyn was a seamstress and member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reading.  Lue Evelyn enjoyed babysitting her great-grandchildren; and she did so up until her death. 

Lue Evelyn leaves behind one daughter, Connie Newberry (Wylan “Bud”) of Orlando, Florida; three grandchildren, Kenneth Ray, Tammy Ray (Chuck Henderson), and Amy Ellison; three great-grandchildren, Tiffany Cardenas, Christopher Ray, and Kenneth Ray, Jr.; one sister, Mildred Lewis of Waynesburg, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Lue Evelyn was preceded in death by one son, Mikie Ellison; two brothers, George Rowland and W.R. Rowland; and one sister, Francis Gastineau. 

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Angel Ridge (Miracle) Cemetery in Lincoln County, Kentucky.  Kenneth Ray, Bud Newberry, Chuck Henderson, Christopher Ray, Jack Ray, and Evan Lewis will serve as Active Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 12PM-2PM Saturday at the funeral home.
