William Edsal Lamb, age 70, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Monday, July 17, 1950 in Hebron, Kentucky, he was the son of the late William Henry & Mollie Dimple Coffman Lamb. His loving wife, whom he married Wednesday, July 3, 2013, is Karen Tewksbury Lamb of Stanford. William previously worked as a Landscaper; and attended Hour of Redemption Full Gospel Church in Lancaster, Kentucky. William loved animals, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, and enjoyed making popsicle crafts and knives, in his spare time. He will be remembered for being fun-loving and was a prankster.
In addition to his wife, William leaves behind three sons, Phillip Lamb and Jeremy Lamb both of Stanford, and Scott Lamb of Georgetown, Kentucky; three step-daughters, Carol Heidenreich (Gary) of North Carolina, Sheryl Hasul (Michael) of Stanford, and Patricia McDivitt of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 grandchild due September 2021; one brother, Floyd Lamb of Lexington, Kentucky; two sisters, Betty Worth and Lottie Griffith (Jerry) both of Texas; special nephew, Aaron Griffith of Lancaster; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by two brothers, Matt David Lamb and Sylvester Lamb.
Cremation Rites honored. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
