Wendy LaTrista (Frith) Whitehouse, age 40, of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Nashville. Born Wednesday, January 8, 1986, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Vivian Coffee Hopkins of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, and the late Alvin Hammond. Wendy previously worked as a CNA and enjoyed music, DIY crafting, and dancing.
In addition to her mother, Wendy leaves behind one son, Aden Coffee (Alayah Sheppard) of Nashville; two daughters, Serenity French (Dale Farley) and Anika Johnson both of Lafayette, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Annalynn Coffee of Nashville; one granddaughter due July 2026; one brother, Danny Frith (Dawn) of Indiana; four sisters, Kyanna Beard (DeShun) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dana Cummins, Cecley Morales and Cyara Fletcher (Landon) all of Lincoln County, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews, and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her father, Wendy was preceded in death by grandparents who adopted her, Kenneth & Etta Mae Frith; and one brother, Raymond Coffee.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Saturday, at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Wendy’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
Burial will follow in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Aden Coffee, Danny Frith, Mykel Carter, Dale Farley, Landon Fletcher, Mark Hopkins, Cayden Carter, and DeShun Beard will serve as Active Pallbearers.
