Virginia S. Grider, age 85, of Harrodsburg, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Walker’s Trail Senior Living in Danville, Kentucky. Born Saturday, January 25, 1941, in Jamestown, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late George Washington & Nora Mae Lawless Snow. Virginia was the widow of the late Nelson Grider, whom she married Saturday, February 28, 1976, and preceded her in death Tuesday, September 28, 1993. Virginia retired as a sales clerk from Butternut Bread Company in Danville. Virginia previously attended Junction City First Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening and playing Bingo.
Virginia leaves behind one son, Earl Westerfield (Theresa) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; two daughters, Julie Thomas (Randy) of Danville, and Mary Norton (James) of Mercer County, Kentucky; and several grand fur babies.
In addition to her husband and parents, Virginia was preceded in death by four brothers, Farris Lee Snow, William L. Snow, Glyn Roy Snow, and George Snow, Jr.; and two sisters, Margie Snow and Margaret Purcell.
Private Burial will take place in Danville Memorial Gardens.
