Virgil David Campbell

Virgil David Campbell, age 60, of McKinney, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at his home.  Born Sunday, August 5, 1962, in McKinney, he was the son of the late Virgil Melvin & Bonnie Christine Hodge Campbell.  David was a general laborer and enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and side-by-side, trading with people, and visiting and talking to those in which he came in contact.

David leaves behind one brother, Gary Dean Campbell of McKinney; four sisters, Ethel Marie Coffman (James) of McKinney, Mary Catherine Elliott of McKinney, Dollie Ann Brown of Hustonville, Kentucky, and Shirley Rose Campbell of Hustonville; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother, Elwood Jackson Campbell; two infant brothers, Samuel Julis Campbell and Eddie Dewayne Campbell; and one sister, Lona Mae Coleman. 

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. 

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Mike Yocum will officiate the service.

Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.   Willard Dean Elliott, Henry Keith, Henry Keith Jr., Harvey Benjamin, Johnny Hodge, and Hunter Hodge will serve as Active Pallbearers.  David’s brother and sisters will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
