Troy Wayne Martin, age 48, of Belfry, Kentucky, formerly of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Stanford. Born Monday, September 30, 1974, in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of Dennis & Regina Conatser Martin of Stanford. His loving wife, whom he married Wednesday, September 27, 2017, is Angela Collier Martin of Belfry. Troy was a general laborer and member of McKinney Baptist Church. Troy enjoyed riding Harleys and sports.
In addition to his wife and parents, Troy leaves behind one son, Chandler Martin of Greenville, South Carolina; maternal grandmother, Selma Barnett of Waynesburg, Kentucky, mother-in-law, Debra Collier of Belfry; nephews, Brady Martin, Kobe Martin, Easton Martin, Tommy Francis, and Logan Ryan Collins; uncle, Powell Martin of Stanford; and numerous extended family and friends who mourn his passing.
Troy was preceded in death by one brother, Brian Christopher Martin; maternal grandfather, Fred Conatser; and paternal grandparents, Elmer & Virginia Martin.
A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the funeral home. Bro. Brad King will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Chandler Martin, Brady Martin, Randy McGuffey Jr, Shae Martin, Marvin Lane, and Burnell Newcomb. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kobe Martin, Easton Martin, Tommy Francis, Logan Ryan Collins, and John Ray.
Burial will take place Thursday, April 13, 2023, in Elkins Family Cemetery in Belfry, Kentucky.
