Troy Lee McKinney Obituary

Troy Lee McKinney, age 61, of Berea, Kentucky, formerly of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Sunday, October 4, 1959 in Richmond, Kentucky, he was the son of Allene Flannery McKinney of Berea and the late Edward McKinney. Troy previously worked as a painter and enjoyed working on cars and watching wrestling in his spare time.

In addition to his mother, Troy leaves behind one son, Troy Levi McKinney of Danville, Kentucky; one daughter, Matraca Tori McKinney of Lancaster, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Braylee Hignite and Bransyn McKinney both of Danville; three brothers, James McKinney (Nellie) and Robert McKinney (Rachel Morgan) both of Richmond, and Michael McKinney (Samantha) of Hiawassee, Georgia; and one sister, Donna Benedict (Bryan) of Mitchellsburg, Kentucky.

Cremation Rites have been honored. A Public Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 5:30PM-7:30PM Monday, October 19, 2020 at Veterans Park (Pavilion), US Hwy 150 West, Stanford, KY 40484.
