Todd Christopher Young

Todd Christopher Young, 46, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 9th, 2025.

Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Ann Sanstrum. He is survived by his beloved daughter Emma Elizabeth Smith, who was the light of his life and loved beyond measure; his brother Sean Cuevas (Jessika); niece Victoria Cuevas; and his former partner and best friend Amanda L. Smith, along with her daughter Elizabeth Brown, whom Todd loved and cared for as his own.

Todd was intelligent, kind, and generous, almost to a fault. His sense of humor was dark, quick, and absolutely hysterical. A truck driver for many years, he excelled at his craft and was told countless times he was the best in the business. He never tired of reminding people of this fact.

A dedicated gamer, Todd built friendships across the globe through the mobile games he played with passion and skill. He was highly respected, perhaps slightly feared, and frequently dominated the leaderboards. Many a mobile game will miss his expertise, his camaraderie, and his enthusiastic approach to microtransactions.

Todd reigned as the undisputed King of the Fourth of July, legendary for his spectacular firework displays, his open-door hospitality, his “the more the merrier” philosophy, and being a little reckless with the explosives. 

A man of big dreams and an even bigger heart, Todd loved adventure and taking the road less traveled. His favorite pastime was cruising the backroads with his little riding buddy Emma beside him, entertaining her with passionate debates about cryptocurrency, lectures on the importance of good credit, Star Wars versus Star Trek arguments, random history facts, and his grand plans for her future.

Todd’s absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him. His laughter, his generosity, his unwavering love for his family, and his larger-than-life presence leave a void that cannot be filled. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered, not just for how he lived, but for how he loved.​​

Cremation Rites Honored.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-12PM Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Celebration of Life will be held 12PM Saturday, at the funeral home.  The service will be livestreamed on Todd’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.
