Thomas “Danny” Adams, age 77, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at VA Medical Center Palliative Cottages in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Thursday, September 4, 1947, in Danville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ervin Thomas Adams, Jr. and the late Anna Elizabeth “Bibbie” Young Adams. His loving wife, whom he married Thursday, September 6, 2001, is Linda Kay Sanders Adams. Danny was a US Army Vietnam Veteran, who actively served May 2, 1967-April 8, 1970, and was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery. Danny worked for many companies throughout his working career. Danny was a member of the local DAV, former member of the Caswell-Saufley Post #18 of the American Legion, member of Rolling Thunder, and Task Force Omega.
In addition to his wife, Danny leaves behind one son, David Scott Adams (Mary); one daughter, Rita Adams Taylor; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Ann Lafoon (Gene) and Debbie Rotundo (Robert) both of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; and many friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by one infant brother, Edward Adams.
Cremation Rites have been honored.
A Public Graveside Memorial Service, with Full Military Honors, will be held 11AM Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bro. Bill Bales will officiate the service. Following the service, inurnment will take place.
