Terry Wayne Stringer

Terry Wayne Stringer, age 63, of Kings Mountain, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Friday, June 24, 1960, in Stanford, he was the son of the late James Stringer and Kay Stull Gordon. Terry was a U.S. Army Veteran. He previously worked at East Anderson Hardwoods. Terry loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Terry leaves behind one son, Terry Wayne Stringer, Jr. of Pulaski County, Kentucky; one daughter, Emily Gallaher (John) of Pulaski County; two grandchildren, Ryan, and Aurora; a half-brother, James Henley Stringer, Jr. (Jessica) of Eubank, Kentucky; one niece, Samantha Jo Love (Justin) of Hustonville, Kentucky; and one nephew, James Stringer of Burnside, Kentucky.

Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by one brother, Donald James Stringer; and his stepfather, George Gordon, Jr.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, December 8, 2023, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

The Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Friday, at the funeral home. Bro. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Terry’s obituary page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Gooch Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Donnie Reynolds, Sam Davis, Scotty Jones, James Bowen, Timmy Bell, Ike Jones, Terry Jones, Charles Reynolds, Justin Love, and James Stringer will serve as Pallbearers.
