Steven J. Taylor

Steven J. Taylor, age 69, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Friday, August 26, 1955, in Stanford, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Raymond & Florence (Padgett) Taylor.  Steve was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.  He was a master mason, where his work was always the highest quality and “Taylor Made”.  Steve was also an active member of Grace Fellowship Church.

Steve leaves behind one son, Travis Taylor of Lincoln County, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Leishia Taylor of Lincoln County; three grandchildren, Colin Trace Taylor (Taylor), Alyvia Grace Taylor, and David Kegan Taylor; one sister, Nancy Jo Parsons of Waynesburg; long-time friend, Tim Combs (Sandy) of Eubank, Kentucky; seven nieces, Patsy, Tammie, Pamela, Debi, Jennifer, Kelly, and Karen; four nephews, Rick, Bob, Michael, and Kevin;  and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Jane Mason.

Cremation Rites Honored. 

A Public Visitation will be held 12PM-1PM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Grace Fellowship Church, 2294 US Hwy 27, Stanford, KY 40484.

A Public Memorial Service will be held 1:00PM Thursday, at the church.  Bro. Tom Graef & Bro. Vola Brown will officiate the service.  The Public Memorial Service will be livestreamed on Steve’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website. 

A Public Graveside Memorial Service, with Full Military Honors, will follow at 2:30PM Thursday, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
