Sherry Shapley Obituary

Sherry Lee Shapley, age 75, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Born Monday, December 4, 1944 in Baxter, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Alice Cross Stephens. Sherry was the widow of the late Donnie Shapley. She enjoyed her family and spending time with her grandchildren, was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed being outside and growing flowers.

Sherry leaves behind two sons; Todd Benson (Colleen) of Stanford and Randy Benson of Iowa; five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Sherry was preceded in death by two brothers; Max and Dean Stephens; and one sister Deloris Stanley.

Cremation Rites have been honored.
