Ruby Jean (Maynard) Bailey

Ruby Jean Bailey, age 62, of Belfry, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at her son’s home in Waynesburg, Kentucky.  Born Sunday, December 6, 1959, in Turkey Creek, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Joyce Auxier Maynard of Turkey Creek, and the late Glen Maynard.  Ruby retired as an agent with FEMA.  Her special K-9 companion was her dog, Chanel. 

In addition to her mother, Ruby leaves behind one son, Glen Vernatter (Lisa) of Waynesburg; seven grandchildren, Kiera Lovell, Mya Gracen Vernatter, Nicolas Vernatter, Gavin Vernatter, Chloe Jones, Carolina Jones, and Annie Jones; one brother, Greg Maynard (Denise) of Belfry; one sister, Tammy Thacker (Donald) of Belfry; and several extended family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, Ruby was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Alisha Vernatter; and two brothers, Bruce Maynard and David Maynard.

Cremation Rites honored.  No services are scheduled at this time.
