Roy Lee Coleman

Roy Lee Coleman, age 74, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025.  Born Wednesday, May 23, 1951, in Stanford, he was the son of the late Troy & Norma (Rogers) Coleman.  His loving wife, whom he married Saturday, March 24, 1973, is Freida (Griffin) Coleman of Stanford.  Roy was a factory worker and member of Faith Temple in Jesus Name.  Roy loved his family dearly.  He also was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed watching old Western movies. 

In addition to his wife, Roy leaves behind one son, Roy Lee Coleman, Jr. (Tonya) of Stanford; one daughter, Karen Michelle Martin of Liberty, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Morgan Nathaniel Coleman, Hayley Michelle Martin, and Tessa Wilkinson; one brother, Ronald Coleman (Joan) of Frankfort, Kentucky; two sisters, Dianna McKay (BJ) of Stanford, and Rhonda Jones (Richard) of Kings Mountain, Kentucky; honorary family member, Denise Vonbargen of Loveland, Ohio; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Coleman.

Cremation Rites honored.

A Public Visitation will be held 2-3PM Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

A Public Memorial Service will be held 3PM Sunday, at the funeral home.  The Memorial Service will be livestreamed on Roy’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Private Burial will take place in Olive Cemetery.
