Ronnie Hazlett

Ronnie Hazlett, age 66, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his home.  Born Tuesday, April 26, 1955 in Indiana, he was the son of the late Kelly & Thelma Estes Hazlett.  His loving wife, whom he married Friday, October 26, 1973, is Mary Lee Mefford Hazlett of Stanford.  Ronnie worked, alongside his father and brothers, as a drywaller (Hazlett Drywall), and electrician (Power and Panel / Electrical Design, LLC), and a salesman with Pitman Creek Wholesale until his retirement.  He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed the outdoors, and loved spending time with his grandsons. 

In addition to his wife, Ronnie leaves behind one son, Ronnie J. Hazlett II of Kentucky; one daughter, Mary Ann Hazlett-Gaines (Jason) of Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ronnie J. Hazlett III and Mason Kelly Hazlett; two brothers, Kelly Hazlett (Marketta) and Wendall Hazlett both of Danville, Kentucky; two sisters, Paulette Hyatt of Colorado and Beverly Lay of Danville; and several extended family members and close friends who mourn his passing.  

Cremation Rites will be honored.  A Public Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at New Salem Baptist Church (10680 KY 698, Hustonville, KY 40437) at 2:00pm.  Bro. Greg Lockard will officiate the service.
