Ronda (May) Edwards

Ronda May Edwards, age 57, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.  Born Wednesday, October 25, 1967, in Danville, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Odell & Saundra Ray May.  Ronda previously worked in manufacturing, enjoyed crafting, and spending time with her family.  Ronda loved her family dearly and enjoyed giving everyone around her a “hard time”. 

Ronda leaves behind one grandson, Steven VanHook of Waynesburg, Kentucky; one sister, Michelle Naylor (Charles) of Eubank, Kentucky; two brothers, Rodney May (Jodi) of Science Hill, Kentucky, and Michael May of Eubank; several nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Ronda was preceded in death by two sons, Steven Odell VanHook and Josh Michael VanHook.

A Public Visitation will be held 4-5PM Friday, April 4, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home. 

A brief Celebration of Life Service will be held 5PM Friday, at the funeral home, followed by a ballon release and a meal to share memories of Ronda’s life.
