Robert Guy Lane

Robert Guy Lane, 51, of Brodhead passed away at UK Medical Center in Lexington on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. He was born on Tuesday, December 31, 1974 in Boyle County to Dereatha Noel Lane and the late Joe Robert Lane. He is survived by his loving wife, Tajuana Wilson Lane.

Robert will be remembered for the love he had for his family with whom he cherished spending time and for his thirty-five years working at Lee’s Famous Recipe in Stanford. Robert enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his wife and was a member of Cupps Chapel Holiness Church in Brodhead. After leaving Lee’s Famous Recipe, Robert began working for BGCAP where he quickly became friends with his coworkers. Robert enjoyed spending time with his dog, Zeus, and his cat, Bella.

In addition to his wife and mother, Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, a son, Travis Lane of Brodhead; a daughter, Stacey Coyle (Matt) of Brodhead; two sisters, Amy Jo Lane and Charity Lane; his mother-in-law Paulette Wilson of Brodhead; two sisters-in-law, Michelle Burris (Bobby) of Berea, and Gari Sue Thacker (Shawn) of Mt. Vernon; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Public Visitation will be 5 to 8PM on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. A second Public Visitation will be 11AM to 1PM on Tuesday June 9, 2026.

A Public Funeral Service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the funeral home with Bro. James Harris and Bro. Travis Carpenter officiating.

Burial will follow at Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Burris, Trevor Burris, Hayden Thacker, Robert Snow, Hank Snow, Jeffrey Snow, Christopher Russell and Jacob Lay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Coyle, Bobby Burris, Shawn Thacker, Joseph Lay, Justin King, Jamie Mobley, Bobby York and Robert’s co-workers at BGCAP.
