Richard Jerome Denny

Richard Jerome Denny, age 54, of the Broughtontown community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, at his home. Born Monday, July 6, 1970, in Garrard County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles Jr. & Angela Evaline Adams Denny. Richard worked as a mechanic and enjoyed working on small engines. Richard enjoyed cooking and loved any type of spicy foods.

Richard leaves behind one brother, Anthony Eric Denny (Tammy) of Broughtontown; two sisters, Charlene Denney of Dog Walk, Kentucky, and Jennie Playforth (Calvin) of Stanford, Kentucky; half-sister, Barbara Jean Jacobs of Waynesburg, Kentucky; special nephews, Avery Estep of Dog Walk, Vince Denny of the western United States, and Shawn Denny of Lexington, Kentucky; special nieces, Lorie Bastin of Danville, Kentucky, and Michelle McCoy of Burgin, Kentucky; four special great-nieces and great-nephews, Ellie, Garrison, Lindsey, and Morgan; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Denny III; and one half-brother, Phillip Jacobs.

Cremation Rites have been honored. A Public Graveside Memorial Service and Burial will take place 1:00PM Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
