Peggy Ann (Brown) Ray

Peggy Ann Brown Ray, age 70, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021, at her home.  Born Saturday, May 5, 1951, in Stanford, she was the daughter of Martha Luster Brown of Stanford and the late Lloyd Brown.  Peggy was a Registered Nurse and worked for many years at Fort Logan Hospital.  Peggy was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and flower arranging in her spare time.

In addition to her mother, Peggy leaves behind son, Kevin Ryan Ray of Stanford; one daughter, Sheri Lynn Martin of Stanford; three grandchildren, Donald Joseph Martin, Dustin James Martin (Kimmie), and Shaina Dawn Martin; two great-grandchildren, Rylee Grace Martin, and Tony Leon Martin; one sister, Paula Francis Terry of Hustonville, Kentucky; and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing. 

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Second Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday, August 12, 2021, at New Salem Baptist Church. 

A Public Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM Thursday at the church.  Bro. Greg Lockard will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery.
