Paul Edward Alvey, Jr.

Paul Edward Alvey, Jr., age 71, of Clarkson, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026.  Born Friday, November 5, 1954, in Indiana, he was the son of the late Paul Edward Alvey, Sr. and the late Myrtle Patterson Hazelgrove.  Paul was a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, who actively served March 23, 1972-March 22, 1976.  Paul was a member of the American Legion, a handyman who collected old appliances, and enjoyed electrical work, robotics and fishing.

Paul leaves behind one son, Richard “Rick” Alvey of Sheridan, Indiana; two grandchildren, Graciana Alvey of Sheridan, and Nicholas Alvey of Avon, Indiana; one brother, Tom Alvey of Whiteland, Indiana; one sister, Rosemary Buchanan of Noblesville, Indiana; and several other extended family members and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three sisters.

A Public Graveside Service, with Full Military Honors, will be held 1PM Monday, February 23, 2026, at the shelter of K.P. Hall Cemetery.  Burial will follow the service.
