Nancy Marie Miracle Alford

Nancy Marie (Miracle) Alford, age 88, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Friday, September 12, 2025, in Danville, Kentucky.  Born Thursday, June 24, 1937, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Willie J. & Maggie (Wilder) Miracle.  Nancy was the widow of the late Glenn C. Alford, to whom she was married 51 years, and preceded her in death Saturday, October 30, 2004.  Nancy was a homemaker and was of the Church of Christ faith.  Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nancy leaves behind three children, Glenna Alford Preston (Danny) of Stanford, Kim Wes Alford (Janie Messer) of Stanford, and Merry Suzanne Alford Rife (Jodie) of Winnabow, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Amber Nicole Bustle (Chris) of Stanford, Rachel Wilder Ovens (Tommy) of Hampstead, North Carolina, Madison Taft Vithalani (Travis) of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Quincy Elizabeth Rife of Athens, Alabama; seven great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Corbin, Macy, Adleigh, Banks, Jackson, and Davis; and numerous extended family members and friends who mourn her passing. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by three brothers, Dexter J. Miracle, Calvin Miracle, and William E. “Cotton” Miracle; and two sisters, Rossie Wilburn and Vivian Thomas. 

A Public Visitation will be held 11:30AM-1PM Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Saturday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Jodie Rife will officiate the service.  The Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Nancy’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
