Millard "Clem" Mason

Millard “Clem” Mason Jr., age 61, of Kings Mountain, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, in Kings Mountain.  Born on Saturday, May 4, 1963, in Kings Mountain, he was the son of the late Millard & Lola Bea Jacobs Mason.   Clem worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 41 years and had just recently retired.  He was known as a hard worker all of his life.  Clem loved to fish, farm and ride horses.  He dearly loved his five Grandchildren.

Clem leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Kimberly Benedict Mason: his two children, Jacob Mason of Stanford, and Kelly Mason of Kings Mountain; Grandchildren, Brooklyn Fischer, Jaren Fischer, Cayden Fischer, Wyatt Mason, and Rylee Powell; brothers, Hobert Mason (Sue), Louis Mason (Renate) both of Waynesburg, and Jeff Mason of Liberty; sisters, Sylvia Leach (Jerry), Pam Mason, and Bonnie Hasty (Bobby), all of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dan Mason, Carl Mason, and Neil Mason: an infant sister Sue Mason.

A public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Barnett Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be held following the visitation at 1:00 pm with Bro. David Gambrel officiating the service.  Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Christian Church Cemetery.  Eric Mason, Jarrett Mason, Daniel Mason, Ethan Mason, Cayden Fischer, and Jacobs Mason will serve as Active Pallbearers.  Jerry Leach, Willie Rice, Ricky Walls, and Louis Mason will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
