Michael Raven Crow-Dog, age 71, a resident of Stanford Care & Rehabilitation, formerly of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Stanford. Crow-Dog was born Friday, November 7, 1952, in Elmwood, Indiana. He was the widower of the late Sharon Crow-Dog. He was a US Navy Vietnam Veteran and member of the Lakota Native American Indian Tribe.
Crow-Dog leaves behind two sons, Sundance Crow-Dog and Sundown Crow-Dog; daughter, Brooke Smith (Caleb) of Indiana; several grandchildren; and “Vet Brother”, Mark Hacker of Parksville, Kentucky.
In addition to his wife, Crow-Dog was preceded in death by his parents; and several siblings.
A Public Graveside Service, with Full Military Honors and Burial, will be held 12:30PM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
