Melissa Gayle "Runt" Griffin

It is with deep sadness that the family of Melissa “Runt” Griffin (Cress), age 55, born Monday, April 13, 1970, of Stanford, Kentucky, to announce that she passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025. 

Melissa leaves behind her mother, Gail Griffin of Stanford; her son, Tyler Carter; and nephew Zack Griffin.  She was the daughter of the late Johnny Griffin and sister of the late Johnny Shane (Hotrod) Griffin.  She had many family members she was close to, Brittany Griffin and William Bullock and many friends.

Melissa enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, fixing cars, listening to music, and cooking.  She will be remembered for helping many in need throughout her life. 

With heavy hearts, we announce that Melissa’s Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Friday, May 9, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home in Stanford.

The Public Funeral Service will follow at 1PM Friday, at the funeral home. 

Forget Me Not

When I am gone
