Mary Catherine Miracle Reed Dishon

Mary Catherine Miracle Reed Dishon went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.  Mary was born, in Lincoln County, Kentucky, on Thursday, October 7, 1943.  She was the daughter of the late Vertrice Long Miracle and Hubert Miracle. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Robert R. Dishon; three sons, Norman Chris Reed (Holly Hane), Bryan and Michael Dishon; two beautiful grandchildren, Christian Luk’ (Kieley) Dishon, and Barbara Ariel Michelle Dishon (Ryan); and a beautiful great-granddaughter, Violet Dishon. 

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Barbara Miracle; and her parents, Vertrice Long Miracle and Hubert Miracle.

Mary loved her Lord and Savior, her wonderful family and friends. 

Mary loved to sew, quilt, crochet, embroidery, flowers, and vegetable garden.  But her favorite was scrapbooking, working with rocks, building rock waterfalls, flower baskets, and woodworking, making birdhouses and many other wood items.

Cremation Rites have been honored.  No services are planned at this time.

Mary requested no flowers be sent to the family.  Please make donations to feed the hungry or plant a tree in Mary’s name.
