Lloyd Christopher "Chris" Slone

Lloyd Christopher Slone, age 62, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, born Sunday, October 21, 1962, to Gay Nell Caudill Slone and the late Leo Slone, in Danville, Kentucky. Chris passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, in Waynesburg. He was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church and has previously retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Chris loved music, especially the blues, enjoyed cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

In addition to his mother, Chris leaves behind one son, Thaddiaus Slone (Kayla) of Waynesburg; two grandchildren, Charly and Sofia Slone; and two brothers, Buddie Slone (Alisa) of Waynesburg, and Jason Slone (April) of Parrish, Florida.

Along with his father, Chris was preceded in death by one son, Lucas Slone.

A Public Visitation will be held 6-8PM Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the funeral home. Bro. Nate Buschur will officiate the service.

Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. Buddie Slone, Jason Slone, Rob Slone, Tucker Jacobs, Zach Banks, and Dylan Slone will serve as Active Pallbearers.
