Lanny Eldridge

Lanny Eldridge, age 72, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Ohio. Born Saturday, April 23, 1949, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Henry and Bertha Sparkman Eldridge. Lanny retired from Formica after many years. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting mushrooms, ginseng, and arrowheads and he liked to pick blackberries.

Lanny leaves behind to mourn his passing one brother, Tyrone Eldridge (Brenda) of Waynesburg; two sisters, Vivian Greer of Lexington, Kentucky and Ann Loveless of Waynesburg, a special brother-in-law, Mitchell Irvin, of Cincinnati, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Lanny was preceded in death by three brothers; James Eldridge, Earl Eldridge, Lon Eldridge, and one sister; Nadine Irvin.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at Barnett, Demrow and Friend Funeral Home with Chuck Jacobs and Bro. Vola Brown officiating the service. Burial will follow in Double Springs Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home’s Facebook page.

A Public Visitation will be held 12-2PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the funeral home.
