Kay Nona Austin Hale

Kay Nona Austin Hale, age 71, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at her residence. Born Tuesday, January 15, 1948 in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late William Arnold Austin and the late Hazel Sims Privett. Her loving husband was the late Marshall Hale, whom preceded her in death January 16, 1984. Kay was a member of New Salem Baptist and retired from R&R Donnelley’s. She loved gardening, flowers, crafts, fishing, camping, and Facebook farming.

Kay leaves behind one son, Charles Hale (Miranda) of Stanford; one daughter, Teresa Taylor West of Stanford; three grandchildren, Dakota Means (BreAnna) of Stanford, Austyn Hale of Nicholasville, Kentucky, and Camron Hale of Stanford; three great grandchildren, Aubrey and Bobby R. Means of Perryville and Brooklyn Kay Means of Stanford; one brother, Keith Austin (Kathy) of Moreland, Kentucky; and one sister, Karen Patterson of Stanford.

In addition to her husband and parents, Kay was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby R. Means and William “Billy” Arnold Means.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Fox & Friend Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Lockard officiating the service. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Dustin Arnold, Jonathan McWhorter, Kerry Wayne Foley, Richard Adams, Steve Denson, and McKayla Taylor will serve as Active Pallbearers. Kay’s grandchildren and great grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Visitation will be held 5-8PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the funeral home.
