Kay Fleming, age 76, of Casey County, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Kentucky. Born Sunday, August 17, 1947, in Fairbury, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late George & Adelaide Burres Nutsch. Kay previously worked as a welder and in Quality Control at Dana Manufacturing in Danville, Kentucky. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Stanford, Kentucky.
Kay leaves behind one daughter, Jodi Swain (Will) of Danville; two sons, Lee Fleming and George Fleming of Casey County; seven grandchildren, John Humphrey, Dalton Fleming, William Swain, Brant Fleming, Cadence Fleming, James Swain, and John Swain; two great-grandchildren, John Carlos Humphrey and William Lee Humphrey; one sister, Edna Goebel (Gene) of Fairbury, Nebraska; and several extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
Cremation Rites honored. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
