Kathy Peck Tillett

Kathy Peck Tillett, age 67, of McKinney, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, June 25, 2022, surrounded by her family.  Born Tuesday, May 10, 1955, in the Geneva community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Silas & Sarah Eggart Peck.  Her loving husband, whom she married Saturday, June 27, 1987, is Tim Tillett of McKinney.  Kathy was an RN from 1995-2017 in many different capacities, but retired from Heritage Hospice after 11 years of service. Kathy enjoyed traveling and going to the ocean, and loved spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking and flower gardening in her spare time, was the previous owner of Kathy’s Kash & Karry in McKinney, and was a faithful member of Green River Pentecostal Church. 

In addition to her husband, Kathy leaves behind two sons, Jamie Todd of McKinney and Jeremy Todd (Sharon) of Stanford, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kesna Todd, Brayden Todd, Sarah Della Todd, Anna Grace Todd, and Kate Todd; and several extended family members and friends who mourn her passing. 

In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by a half-sister, Doris Berry.

A Public Visitation will be held from 5-9pm Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Green River Pentecostal Church in McKinney.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 11am Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the church with Bro. Rick Naylor & Bro. Bill Walls officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed on Kathy's obituary at www.friendfuneralhomes.com and on Green River Pentecostal Church’s Facebook page.

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. 

Pallbearers are Jeremy Todd, Dave Lewis, Preston Hubble, Jason Coulter, John Sparkman, and Brayden Todd.
