Kathleen Davis

 Kathleen Davis, age 69, of Stanford, passed away at her home on Saturday, July 27, 2024.  Born on Friday, March 4, 1955, in Covington, she was the daughter of the late Edgar B. & Ella B. Snow Rowland.  Her husband who she married on October 14, 1977, is Doyle Davis, who she has loved since she was 12 years old.  She was a member of Pleasant Point Baptist church and loved reading her Bible.  Kathleen enjoyed bingo, was kind and would help anyone in need and loved her family dearly.  She was a Nurse for 47 years and she received several awards.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Doyle Davis;  two sons, Samuel Fitzgerald Davis (Tammi), and John Foster Davis (Ella), both of Stanford; one daughter, Angela Melissa Ribbey (Ricky) of Stanford; Grandchildren, Justin Watson (Krysta), James Watson (Brittany), Tyler Davis (Keshea), Ryan Davis, Jacob Davis, Brooke Adkins, Bryce Adkins; great -grandchildren, Lincoln Davis, Noah Davis, Isaih Davis, Micha Davis; Brothers, John Rowland (Debbie) of Erlanger, Richard Yocum of Cleveland, Ohio, Gilbert Rowland of Stanford, Franklin Rowland of Covington and Samuel Rowland of Cincinnati; sisters, Eileen Benedict (David) of Stanford, Colleen Abell (Dennis) of Florence; sisters-in-law, Judy Jenkins, Nieta Taylor (Roscoe), Kim Phillips, Claudia Hogue; a cousin and special friend, Janiceteen Patterson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter, Serenity Paige Davis; brother Roy Yocum, and sister Arleen Bess.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Funeral home with Bro. David Kidd officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Gooch Cemetery.  John Davis, Sam Davis, Ricky Ribby, Justin Watson, Kenneth Shea Jr, Tyler Davis, Joseph Rowland and Mike Morgan will serve as Active Pallbearers.
