Josephine Salyers

Josephine leaves behind three grandsons, Chris Salyers (Kelly) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Shane Salyers (Jessica) of Liberty, and Willie Salyers (Valerie) of Liberty; 10 great-grandchildren, Tyler Salyers (Kirsten), Jasmine O’Dell (Chris), Erin Salyers, Kimber Salyers, Stevie Salyers, Carly Salyers, Jon-Michael Salyers, Tanner Salyers, Sierra Cross-Vest, and Madison Carman; 7 great-great grandchildren, Evie Salyers, Aubrey Salyers, Azriel Salyers, Avery O’Dell, Andy O’Dell, Jacob Vest, and Ivy Dawn Soule; one daughter-in-law, Deloise Salyers of Liberty; and a host of nieces and nephews and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her husband and parents, Josephine was preceded in death by five sons, Danny Salyers, Michael Salyers, Rickie Salyers (infant), Greg Salyers, and Steve Salyers; two granddaughters, Dawn Salyers and Jessica Salyers; and one brother, Dillard Salyers.

A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Barnett, Demrow & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Thursday, at the funeral home.  Bro. Greg Powell will officiate the service. 

Burial will follow in Salyers Cemetery.  Chris Salyers, Shane Salyers, Willie Salyers, Tyler Salyers, Robert Lynn, and James Salyers will serve as Active Pallbearers.
