Joan (Martin) Clark

Joan (Martin) Clark, age 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Hustonville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Indianapolis.  Born Wednesday, September 26, 1934, in the Turnersville Community of Lincoln County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Terry & Lorene (Foley) Martin.  Joan was the widow of the late Ralph Kennith Clark, who preceded her in death Monday, September 14, 1992.  Joan worked at JCPenney, for many years, as a sales clerk.  Joan previously attended McCormack Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, antiquing, and traveling. 

Joan leaves behind one son, Kennith Clark (Angie) of Pendleton, Indiana; two daughters, Kennitha Boenigk (Timothy McShay), and Marilyn Heuring both of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joan was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Duckworth; and two sisters, Elizabeth McKinney and Kathryne Carrier. 

A Public Visitation will be held 12-1PM Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home. 

A Public Funeral Service will be held 1PM Wednesday, at the funeral home.  The Public Funeral Service will be livestreamed on Joan’s memorial page of the funeral home’s website. 

Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
