Jerry Lee Barnett

Jerry Lee Barnett, age 78, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at VA Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  Born Sunday, September 29, 1946, in Corbin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Alvis Benjamin Barnett and the late Rose (Ledington) Brown.  Jerry was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, who earned the rank of Corporal, and actively served Thursday, March 11, 1965-Wednesday, January 1, 1969.  Jerry previously worked as an electrician.

Jerry leaves behind one daughter, Rose; two sisters, Anita Buzzard (Greg) of Garrard County, Kentucky, and Valerie Krentz of Danville.

A Public Graveside Service, with Full Military Honors, will be held 1:30PM Monday, September 8, 2025, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.  Burial will follow the Graveside Service.
