Jennifer Renee “Jenny” Brown, age 46, of the Geneva McKinney area of Lincoln County, Kentucky, passed peacefully Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home. Born Friday, September 27, 1974 in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Russell & Rita Yocum Brown of McKinney. Jenny was a faithful member of Green River Pentecostal Church. Jenny was a devout Christian; and she let her light shine to all those who knew her. She loved getting on her computer and share songs and scriptures to encourage others. She was a true inspiration to all. Jenny also loved anything Disney.
In addition to her parents, Jenny leaves behind maternal grandfather, Alphas Yocum of McKinney; aunts and uncles, Paula Phillips (John), Tammy Morgan (Johnny), Mary Ann Brown, and Sue Brown; half-sister, Kristy Preston; very special cousin, who was like a sister to her, Kyla Moore; and several other cousins and extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
Jenny was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Joyce Yocum; paternal grandparents, June & Margaret Brown; step-maternal grandmother, Judy Yocum; uncle, Steve Brown; aunt, Patsy Brown; and first cousin, Misty Jenkins.
A Public Visitation will be held 5-9PM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Green River Pentecostal Church. A Second Visitation will be held 10AM-1PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the church.
The Public Funeral Service will begin at 1:00PM Saturday at the church. Bro. Rick Naylor, Bro. Mike Yocum, and Bro. Tyler Simpson will officiate the service. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on The Green River Pentecostal Facebook page and shared on Fox & Friend Funeral Home Facebook page.
Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. John Phillips, Johnny Mac Brown, Johnathan Morgan, Chris Adams, Lonnie Brown, and Tyler Simpson will serve as Active Pallbearers. Becky, Charlie, Buddy, Miss Kitty, and Brenda will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The family would like to thank all of Jenny’s nurses who have cared for her throughout the years: Sandy, Twila, Martha, Elizabeth, April, Angela, Debbie, Pat, Christine, and any others failed to be mentioned.
